The BACHP Constitution sets out how the British Association of Cardiovascular Health Professionals is governed and provides the framework for how the Association operates.
It defines our purpose as a professional home for cardiovascular nurses and allied professionals, bringing disciplines and specialties together to support education, collaboration, leadership, research and workforce development.
The Constitution also sets out the structure and responsibilities of BACHP Council, membership arrangements, elections and terms of office, decision-making processes, and the governance of our meetings and Annual General Meeting.
It ensures that BACHP is member-led, transparent and accountable, while providing a clear framework through which our members can contribute to the direction and development of the Association.
